This time, we are entering Singapore’s East side, all the way to Pasir Ris! As we venture to more heartlands and Singapore’s heritage areas, we learn more about Singapore, and of course, have surprising finds for OOTD locations!

- Tanah Merah
- Pasir Ris
Geylang East Swimming Complex
Pastel blue is one of my favourite colours. The circular shapes on the walls of this swimming complex, coupled with the bright yellow, simply puts a smile on our faces. Really reminds me of carefree days of sunshine and water sports! This place is also amazingly lit with natural lighting.
Go for a girl-next-door look with some flannels, you may be amazed at how much flannels can add playfulness to a simple white outfit. We loved the way the green and blue flannels complemented the pastel blue hues of this swimming complex.

Black Earth Auction House
If you have not visited Joo Chiat, you need to go now! Joo Chiat is one of the places that really caught our eyes (and hearts), the colourful Peranakan shophouses and five-foot-ways, along with the alleys, exude an old-Singapore taste that you cannot experience anywhere else in Singapore. Also, the rich history of this place is worth exploring as well – Joo Chiat has been the Peranakan neighbourhood, housing Singaporeans of different races in the early 40s.
At Duku Road, the black and white exterior of the Black Earth Auction House really caught our eyes. The deep green here totally complements the whole colour scheme, and there are lots to play around with when taking an OOTD here. Pose with plants, bicycles and things you can find around you!
Nearest MRT: Paya Lebar, Eunos
Location: 352 Joo Chiat Rd, 427559
Koon Seng Road
Besides colourful shophouses, there are also these exquisite houses like these. Lined along the Koon Seng Road, these colourful houses with oriental tiles and art deco are a popular spot for Singaporeans and tourists alike. The pastel colours and the retro-looking mailboxes are so pretty, its easy to see why.
Dress retro in a back-less shift dress with a halter top. Shift dresses are easy to throw on and style. For a minimalist look, simply accessorise with some minimal jewelry!
Nearest MRT: Paya Lebar, Eunos
Location: 13 Koon Seng Road
Christ Methodist Church
When we think of churches, we often think about traditional service gatherings, but the impeccable modern design of the Christ Methodist Church completely deconstructs the way we think of church spaces. Jump down the rabbit hole in this gorgeous circular opening, there’s a reason why people say circles are the perfect shape… This spot is also great for a wedding shoot!
Dress in some classic black culottes and a blue flowy top, and spruce it up with some good ol’ sneakers.
Nearest MRT: Kembangan
Location: 597 E Coast Rd, Singapore 429082
East Coast Xtreme Skate Park
This isn’t scape, look closely, it is actually the Xtreme Skate Park at East Coast Park. This place is gorgeous because of its pale purple and pink earthy tones, it hardly looks like a skating rink! At the back of this skating rink is are also some beautiful greenery – like this wall of leaves here – where you can take your OOTDs as well!
Go casual chic here with a white top and some patterned white shorts. You can dress sporty with some sneakers, or wear a dress in contrast to the raw exterior of this place!
Nearest MRT: Bedok, Dakota
Location: East Coast Park Service Road
Optima @ Tanah Merah
Tanah Merah was tough, but this gorgeous condo with brilliant lighting saved the day. The lines, in contrast with each other, coupled with the soft foliage of the trees makes it a great OOTD spot. The gigantic leaves adds a little something to the mixture, we loved the gentle vibe this place was giving off!
Look dreamy in a striped white shirt. We love all kinds of stripes, brown, nude, olive green – experiment with different colours, stripes don’t have to always be black.
Nearest MRT: Tanah Merah
Location: 80 Tanah Merah Kechil Ave, Singapore 465514
Next stop, Simei. My manhattan is a tropical paradise all on its own. The walls that enclose this condominium has tadpole like accents and lines that adds flair to the usual white walls. This condominium is barely a minute’s walk from the MRT, but it is definitely a crowded place.
When wearing patterns, we love blouses with small prints like this one. Not too over the top, and still exuding that sweet vibe! Pair them with some brown sandals and you’re good to go. If you wish to show off your accessories, a hand-across-shoulder pose looks natural and light.
Nearest MRT: Simei
Location: 33 Simei Street 3, 529894
Tucked away in the heart of Tampines is SUTD, and the aesthetics in this university is heavenly on its own – we could do an entire edition here! – but first, the auditorium. The spiral staircase and the black and white design is perfect for an OOTD. This is a place we strongly recommend you visit. The auditorium is not the only beautiful place, almost every corner of the university make for amazing photo opportunities!
Dress in a button down denim shirt, or a white ensemble. The interior of the auditorium will never take away from your style!

Location: 8 Somapah Rd, 487372
Pasir Ris Sports Centre
Wew, here we are at Singapore’s far East side! Pasir Ris is another tough place, but this tennis court with hanging plants caught our eyes. Using foreground interest, like this net here, is one way to make your OOTDs more interesting. Experiment with different angles too!
Love the sneaker-denim combo here! And if you are one who always look awkward, try looking down or closing your eyes, it’s effortless and immediately solves your OOTD problems!
Nearest MRT: Pasir Ris
Location: 120 Pasir Ris Central, 519640
