We’ve all seen pictures and videos of stars going on extravagant parties out at sea. They really go all out for those, and it almost seems too good to be true. If you would like to experience something like that (maybe a little more down to earth!), you can check out Singapore’s very own yacht chartering company Ximula Sail. They offer so many different packages, from island hopping, to activities like kayaking, stand-up paddling, and snorkelling etc. We were lucky enough to go on an island hopping trip and there was so much to do! Read on to check out what we were up to, and what are some things that you can do out at sea!
- Have a photoshoot
- Play an instrument
- Read a book
- Enjoy the change in Scenery
- Get seasick
Are you really on a boat if you don’t talk about it on Instagram? The yacht was mostly white, and matched our outfits really well! We got to go around a few of the surrounding islands which were breathtaking, and that made all our photos a million times better. The sun really allowed us to get beautifully lit shots and wonderful sun burns too.
Think back to all of the youtube covers you’ve watched, how often is it that you come across one filmed on a boat? The change of scene really adds to the video, just really open, neutral and happy tones, fit for a song played on a ukulele!
The title says it all. I mean, it isn’t every day that you get the opportunity to go on a yacht trip around Singapore seas. Try reading a book while lounging out on deck, it is very relaxing and just extremely luxurious.
Because it was a private yacht, we were able to stop at each island to soak in the white sandy beaches. We were very tempted to get off the yacht but it was a really hot day out so we chose to stay on deck and enjoy the ocean breeze, while taking in the magnificent view. Aside from that, being out at sea let us see a whole new angle of Singapore and its surroundings, it was really cool. We got to look at the marina bay skyline, small tranquil islands, the vast ocean etc. and that was really special.
Okay, I mean not on purpose, but if you do get motion sickness, remember to bring along some medicine to counter it, so that you can make the most out of your trip! We forgot to bring some along, but the people at Ximula had plenty on board! If medicine does not help, staying out on deck will definitely make you feel better too.
