To help you feel wholesome and excited the next time you reach out for your beauty stash, we bring you another 10 extremely aesthetic beauty brands that you should look out for:
- W3LL PEOPLE
- UND GRETEL
- Kjaer Weis
- Nude by Nature
- THREE Cosmetics
If you are looking for a environmentally-conscious brand that gives you the natural “no-makeup” look, look no further than W3LL PEOPLE. W3LL PEOPLE is extremely driven in promoting self-care to its consumers, creating premium-quality makeup products that are gluten and chemical free. Harmful artificial ingredients can be found in conventional makeup products we use everyday, so the W3LL PEOPLE team is inspired to deliver makeup products with the customers’ wellbeing in mind.
W3LL PEOPLE is available here on Anthropologie.
Berlin-based makeup artist Christina Roth and Stephanie Dettmann were inspired to create UND GRETEL after they observed that boldly-coloured and fashionable cosmetics are often formulated with toxic ingredients, while non-toxic makeup products are often dull and colourless. UND GRETEL targets beauty consumers who want beautiful colours, non-toxic formulas, and premium ingredients in whatever goes onto their face every morning. We really love the French Girl-styled TAGAROT lipstick casing, the uncomplicated LIETH Foundation pump bottle, and the overall calligraphic font-styled logo and sans serif body font combination on its labels.

ILIA is another environmentally and consumer-conscious brand that focuses on the visual aesthetic of their products, as you can tell from the contemporary, sleek and sturdy packaging. This is not unexpected, considering the fact that founder Sasha Plavsic had a degree in Typography Design. The earthy, steely tones of the packaging really represent the organic bio-active botanicals composition of its beauty products.
ILIA is available here on Sephora.
Danish-born, New York-based makeup artist Kirsten Kjær Weis founded the brand after observing that her clients often complain of skin irritations and breakouts from using conventional makeup products. Kjær Weis aims to create products that are high-performing in colour, luxurious in quality, and socially responsible in the larger environment. The slide-out lid reminds us of Lilah B.’s compact foundation packaging, while the Bauhaus-styled logo font against the sturdy silver palette is something that we have never quite seen elsewhere before.
Kjær Weis is available here on NET-A-PORTER.
RMK has been one the representative makeup brands of Japan for quite some time now, and its first Singapore counter opened back in 2008. With product formulations derived from its laboratories in Japan and style inspired by the New York makeup artistry scene, its products carry a unique clean-cut identity. We really love the natural, clean and chic philosophy and branding.
RMK is available here on BeautyBay.
While RMK is really an eye candy for minimalistic makeup lovers, we must admit that their products can be quite pricey. A much cheaper alternative (or dupe in appearance), would be the fairly new cosmetic line of MUJI. The packaging of MUJI Cheek Colour is extremely similar to RMK’s Ingenious Powder Cheeks N.
MUJI Makeup is available in various MUJI outlets in Singapore.
Nude by Nature is dedicated to all the nude lovers out there (nude colour lovers, not nudists). The shades in its various beauty products are super natural and flesh-toned, and therefore very wearable for a subtle, everyday makeup look. On the other hand, its packaging feels so luxurious and expensive.
Nude by Nature is available here on ASOS.
THREE Cosmetics is a homegrown Japanese beauty brand, and probably the most Zen beauty brand you will ever find. The brand believes that to achieve a balance between the mind, body and skin, one has to have holistic skincare and beauty routine. Wholesome ingredients like plant-based ingredients and essential oils can be found in the products. The nature-themed, muted and uncluttered design of the products is just so Zen.

ROM&ND is a relatively new and undiscovered Korean makeup brand that builds its consumer base largely through Instagram. Can we just admire how gorgeous the milky, rainbow swirl-themed design of the Perfect Styling Art Eye Makeup Palette is? Get this palette and you can become a galactic princess or magic unicorn already.
ROM&ND is available here on Lazada.
Nūdus is an Australian Organic Makeup brand that exclusively sells handcrafted lipsticks of premium formulas. The lipsticks are made with a blend of vitamins, fruit extracts and other organic goodness. The brand apparently promises to evoke ‘Lip Euphoria’ in customers, where you break out a beautiful smile because your body recognises all the wonderful ingredients in the lipstick you use. Not to mention, the delicately engraved art on the A-shell is such a charmer.
There you have it! Another 10 extremely aesthetic beauty brands that you should look out for if you are one minimalist beauty junkie. When we think of minimalist makeup products, we do not only think of those who look good, but make us feel good inside as well. We didn’t set out on a mission to find organic and pure makeup products, but many of the brands in this list are socially responsible brands who look out a great deal for their customers’ wellbeing, and thereafter deliver their concepts through great product design.
