We got to find out a little more behind the beautiful ‘grlue’ (a combination of green + blue) colour that she has created on Instagram, do read on if you want to find out how she shot those beautiful photos on her feed!
Introduce yourself, your work, and the things you do during your free time.
Hi! I’m Belinda Love Lee and I run a boutique branding studio from the comfort of my own home. I design logos, stationery and packaging for clients around with the world. In my free time you’ll find me loving on our adorable puppy @moto_thewhippet, craving the sun on my skin, and getting lost in the dark hole of YouTube.
What camera do you use to snap the photos on your Instagram feed?
I primarily use my iPhone6 for my Instagram, just because it’s always in my back pocket and easy to travel with!
What app(s) do you use to edit your photos?
Any props that you think people should get when shooting minimalist type of photos?
The best and cheapest prop possible is playing with shadows and lighting, I think they make for the most beautiful photos working with nature!
Who inspires you on Instagram?
Oh this really changes month to month, but currently I’m really inspired by @SwellPress i just think that the printing process is so beautiful, @samatha.de.la.o always takes beautiful photos, and @saarmanche has been my long time favourite.
Tell us your fav place that you think is super instagramable for your feed.
Any white wall with some good shadow play on it is game, or anywhere by a large body of water.
Lastly, any tips and tricks to taking minimalist type of photos?
Don’t over think it, if you think it’s pretty post it, even though often my more minimal, avant-garde kind of photos don’t preform as well, I still think they’re worth sharing.
